Yes, a regulator with the seconds subdial at 12 is very unusual.
The reason for this configuration is that the escapement is at 12. In a way it makes it special.

I think that the dial lacks a bit of charm. As you say it would be interesting to see it in person.
I know, from posts in this website, that it could be possible to talk with Habring for a personalization.. I assume the price will rise.

As an update, I was easily able to place my order
by contacting the company directly by email. Maria Habring responded very promptly and now I am waiting for the delivery Mar/Apr 2025!
