Diamond of L&H Albert
Hello Daos,
the diamond is not used as a cap jewel. Diamonds are not soo good in this function cause they are too hard. The watch has also an shock-proof system for the balance axis. This system works with rubin as a deck cap under the diamond. If you compare old watches with a real cap diamond you can see that the diamond of the Albert is more glamourus cause its a real brilliant with a peaked underneath. The old ones are not so dazzling cause they were flat on the underneath.
Thanks to SJX and the owner of the watch for the nice pictures!
greetings
