but I can't help thinking that IF aaaaallll those words on the dial were written in English, they would lose their appeal instantly, to the native English speaker anyway... I find all the words a little 'too much'. The level of watchmaking is all the proof of any philosophy any watch collector needs, but then, these are works of highest art, and the artists have decided how the art should look and what it should 'say. Too much wordings gave a very cluttered feeling, as less is more, most of the time. The 'two-dots' screw securing the caseback, was wondering how tight is the water-resistance as the tool to fasten may give way at a certain torque. Kong

It must take forever for the CNC to machine out the background around the small text on this dial. It's a lot more expensive and time consuming to CNC in relief! These GF's are just pieces of art to stare at. And as a mere mortal, I can only dream of purc...
