Yup, I'm a certified PC Perv....!! The Moser is my 3rd PC, I never stopped looking at PCs, Why would I want another PC? Why The Moser? My 3940 has been great, still is, all that grand complications in a classic thin case, made possible by its cal .240. Pa...  

I no longer own PC myself, so I am not qualified to comment I thought the dial was too busy for an old man. But Moser dial is so simple. But, then again, the dial is too big for my wrist.... Anyway, both are wonderful piece and I like both! Wonderful phot... 

On its own, the 3940 dial seems 'busy' on a small case of 36mm. But when I wear it, it fits very comfortably and the dial doesn't really look that 'busy' on an old man like me I do have to highlight that my 3940 is an earlier 2nd series dial which has a s...

for a few weeks/months, making the dates right again will require a few pushings. My winder broke down recently thus this exercise becomes a dread for me So nowadays I stop correcting them (haha) and I know at least one fellow purist who also doesn't corr... 

the more I look at the Moser the more I admire it. I think it can hold it's own against the lovely Patek as it has a novel and understated look and a mechanism that looks very user-friendly to set against the 3940s classic beauty. Best Andreas

how many PC/AC owners put them on the winder everyday? My AD advises me against it to avoid wearing them out. So I guess wearing an automatic PC/AC on a daily basis is the best way to keep them running optimally? A small inconvenience for many who couldn'... 

The Patek is lovely, and I do like the dial and thin case very much, but for my taste the Moser is the one I'd like to take off your hands! You've got two spectacular watches in these beauties! Cheers, Daos

First of all, thanks for your pics and your point of view. I feel mixed emotions with this Moser. Excellent points are the flash date system, the case and the simplicity of the dial. But this simplicity is also for me a trouble. The watch is too simple. I...  

Its dial doesn't look as complicated as you described it, it even look 'simpler' than my 3940! The aperture windows are great to read! That's a welcome feature. But like you said it, a PC should look somewhat less simple, at least on the dial design, I ag...

after crossing the midnight mark directly to the correct date with no transition (ie dumps directly to 1 on Mar from 28 on Feb skipping 29/30/31...). Something nice. My 3940's needle moves a few steps in such transitions beginning 20 mins ahead of midnigh... 

The 3940 is a fine watch. The Moser Perpetual is a ground breaking watch. I consider it to be the most innovative perpetual calendar that I have seen. Wear yours in health. Jeff
