Didn't Rexhepi work for FPJ?

The words 'chronometre' and 'contemporain' are common in watchmaking like 'GT' or 'Luxe' in the car industry. Every car brand has a GT model. Currently, 'chronometer contemporain' is used by both Journe and Rexhepi. It just means contemporary chronometer ... 

I suppose only the OP can tell us. I was just wondering if my recollection was correct that Rexhepi worked for FPJ and it was OP's intent to allude to that. And to answer my own question from my last post, a quick google search does indicate that Rexhepi ... 

He did for a couple of years. Worked on the souverain and resonance pieces among others.

As a lover of enamel dials, it piqued my interest and when I met Rexhepi and his brother in Basel, I was intrigued. The watch is brilliant. Here’s the RG with black enamel dial...one of my fav. all time color combos! The platinum piece is quite lovely... ...  

...the rose gold version is amazing. My (very small) caveat on the dial is I'd like to see the 'VIII' turned 180 degrees.

I noticed that you found only one negative about this RR watch and it was not inherently about the watch. It gives away that you really love everything about this watch. 😁😇 I feel a huge love for this watch too and I am not a simple dress watch type of gu... 

He did say that he could do a rose gold case with a white dial so he should be able to do a platinum case with a black dial. Arguably, black enamel dials are more difficult to make but this is somehow not indicated in his pricing structure!

But I know I’ll get bored of a time only watch.... And I don’t even have the budget for it. And it’s probably sold-out anyway. If the Rexhepi brothers do a chrono movement in this case & dial, then I’ll be in BIG trouble 😱😱

it will be around for a while. But yes, if you like complicated watches, this might bore you just like a Gronefeld Remontoire might!

FrX, Thanks for the review that brings the experience of the watch to me. Unfortunately, I missed Baselworld this year and could not see it "in the real". It is almost perfect expression of high end horology. I have only one question mainly because owners... 

"xh" in Albanian is most similar to the 'j' in 'jump' in English. If you youtube his name, he has a couple features from Albanian TV shows where you can hear the native pronunciation of his name.

I am not sure how but I need to get this watch into my collection! And the need is bad!!!

despite Rexhap reassuring me that it will fit me well. He knows my small wrist but those long lugs need testing out even though they are curved. Then I have to decide what watches to forego to finance the purchase! This is the price of early retirement bu... 

I was lucky enough to try it at Basel . Its Perfect imo . But like you the only restraint for me is how to finance it 😉Did order my other grail watch two weeks ago , so there is a huge gap in my budget for this and next year 😬. Or i need to downsize my co...

rose gold or platinum? I need to see how heavy the platinum one is because my preferred choice would be rose gold with a white enamel dial.

Not sure yet , like them both a lot . I dont have a lot of gold watches so maybe the rose gold with black dail .Although a platinum with a Salmon dail would be a dream spec imho 😁 .

What are the dimensions of the watch? How many watches do they project to produce annually? Would prefer the white dial S I am always concerned about legibility of a black dial. Mitch

Having only seen picture on the internet, the Chronometre Contemporain is gorgeous. I agree that it is the best watch on the show, with unlikely opinion change reserved for when I see it in the metal. So, a question... Is this a limited edition piece? and... 

around 35 watches a year at most. They might eventually increase a bit but don’t expect too much more for the time being.
