Horological repository- fantastic

Articles like this are the sole reason why I joined the PuristS community.

I can find articles and reviews on any watches many places. Few places, however,
in fact nowhere other than here, offer me what I really want- deep, personal
information on the life and background of those in the watch industry, their passions,
their history, how they got into watchmaking, the evermore obscure delights of
the arcane tools in their ateliers.

I would give a year of my life up to meet with a man of this caliber of passion, and depth
of rare, arcane lost tool knowledge for only a day. To sit and ask him questions for a day.
To learn, if only a bit, of what he has learned, and understand how people in this industry
cultivate my passion for almost lost, useful tools and mechanical precision like no other
people on earth.

Alas, I have to settle for articles. But to simply know such exceedingly rare talent exists, and
to see a peak into their lives, is more than I could ever ask for.

To those like 219 among us that somehow have the access and skill to find such singular
amazing and interesting watchmakers, my hat's off to you in thanks for bringing them to us.
Bernhard's work has really peaked my interest!
