Hello.
I purchased a white gold/white dial Moser Mayu last August and I love it.
It's had a lot of wrist time without any problems at all. It did have to be returned to the factory for regulation before I took delivery but this was done quickly and efficiently. The UK dealer is great and the factory are incredibly friendly and helpful.
I have owned several watches by one of the very well established 'top' brands and found their quality control, servicing and attitiude to customers leaving a lot to be desired. yet they are still lauded and applauded.
I think some people had very high expectations of Moser (possibly too high) but you have to remember the price and then you realise, in my view, just what a bargain you're getting. You get a pretty good standard of finish and some nice horological innovation in a movement unique to them. I know for sure that some pretty well respected figures in the watch world admire them.
I hope they will sort out their teething problems and go from strenght to strenght because I applaud their approach. Given what they've tried to do as a new brand it's hardly surprising there have been a few hiccups!
They will only survive if we support them, both by buying their product and, when it's needed some helpful feedback and criticism.
Hope my comments are helpful.
