Moser watches do work and are being delivered, albeit in small quantities. The Mayu et al are available at dealers, both brick and mortar and online. In fact there are already second hand Mayu and Monard models offered for sale already, especially in developed markets like Japan, that means supply has reached the point where a secondary market has emerged. 

The one that is rarely seen is the perpetual calendar, as you note. But the biggest issue they face is obtaining components from suppliers - Moser is not an in-house manufacture - hence the slow delievery of the perpetual. The first one was delivered last year to collector who is well known, and last I heard his watch was working fine.
