I like their watches, love Perp 1 but there are only two things that make me hesitate:
The watch is not very legible (Perp 1, Funky Blue and Black Edition that I tried on) due to reflection and the fact that the indices and hands blend in with the dial. I could only read the dial if I held the watch in a certain way. It is a personal choice but I want the watch to be legible at all angles and most lights.
I am still not sure what will be the situation in 25 years time, will my timepiece be still serviceable by H. Moser?
There is no doubt that they produce very good looking watches and the little contact I had with their customer services showed how much of a caring company it is.

Your concern over legibility on certain models
and the long term situation of the brand is totally understandable. Personally I am confident of Moser's future.
Step in the right direction
With the Venturer big date (lacquered white dial) and Bryan Ferry design, things are looking up for someone like me. I am waiting to see the Perp 1 in a similar design, then I don't think I can hold myself back.
I like those two as well.

I like most of the Moser pieces. Perhaps one thing they could improve...
is the finishing level on their movements. If they could bring the level of their movement finishing to, say a VC or a Chopard L.U.C, that would be fantastic!
That could also mean a corresponding price increase, perhaps?
To my untrained eyes, the current movement finishing is about the same level as non-Geneva seal Chopard L.U.C.,which is pretty good but of course not topnotch.

The concept watches are quite well received in general.
The idea of strengthening the image without having the brand name seems to be a good try. More Moser watches? Not last night, not in the near future, but who knows?

I agree with you on both points:
the very likable Bertrand, and the benefits of hosting similar events for any brands. I know there is a group of Moser watch owners in HK who organize annual meetings. I would love to join should there be an opportunity.
