Hi guys (and ladies, of course). I am strongly considering an FPJ Elegante. I have never owned a FPJ. I was wondering if there are any Elegante owners here. What are your thoughts/impressions on this piece, etc. Cheers ...  

I really like the design of the watch . But still didnt pull the trigger

if it was mechanical then yes. Quartz maybe, but not at list price which is above 10k.

It’s a beautiful watch and wore very well. It’s also versatile. Ultimately I just couldn’t get over the fact that it’s quartz. I did not take much of a loss on it and traded it towards another mechanical Journe. If you don’t have an issue with the quartz ...

have bought a total of 5 (myself and gifts) great watch, good finishing, nice strap (overpriced to get replacement straps), gorgeous clasp. 4 of the 5 had problems and had to go back, usually a stuck rotor which led to it never waking up.. others would wa... 

Much appreciated. I don’t mind Quartz but 4 our of 5 with problems is not a good sign. I think CB or a Souverain might be a better option for me. Will go back to saving some more 😋

I asked someone who bought 2 of them, and he said both didn't reset to the correct time when he picked them up.

Have definitely decided not to go for them now. Sounds like trouble. Cheers

No problems with mine. Runs with quartz accuracy and resets to the correct time.

Why? Because it is one of the very few non-mechanical watches to own... I love its design and it is an excellent all-around piece. Fx
