I also tend to FM as the winner of this match. It’s really beautiful!

And in addition to that the readability of the 5159 was not convincing when I had the chance to wear it for a few days.

But looking at the movement of the FM reverses my decision 180 degrees.

So: none of them for me.

is a solid company, but I think the hype of it makes it almost impossible to get vs vacheron, frank muller, bulgari, girrard peregax which make excellent and beautiful watches

I'm pretty sure the screws on the FM are purely for looks, a standard spring bar is typical on FM...

The FM is a great looking watch. I forget the back view??? do you have it? I'm always curious as to the base caliber FM used on some of his older pieces. Until I know the caliber used on the FM, I wouldn't pass judgement ;-) Cheers, Tim

It's a beautiful FM, not to mention that if you like a FM better than a Patek...then I think you should definitely go for it! ;-) Coincidentally, this FM is also much cheaper than a 5159, so it should be a no brainer...Please enjoy! ;-)

Ouch that hurts !! Really not up to the standards of FM btw who usually does insane in-house complicated movements. I could not spend that money on a 7750 (yet I have an IWC Chronographe Rattrapante in SS which is indeed cheaper !) :)

Feel the same way. Although the dial is super nice, the VJ 7750 movement just kills it for me at this price point. Would prefer a Breguet or VC Perpetual Chronograph at a similar price point due to the exquisite Lemania based caliber...

But at least the rotor is in Platinum vs Gold. I agree the movement finishing kills this watch a bit. But its also much less expensive than the Patek. Best to have it with a solid caseback.
