You should have been there. I thik with your interest in a 1912, looking at the One Hertz DS again in person would have been nice if not fueling the urge even more. Peter as usual was a great host and you should see some of his pieces. I think you;d like ... 

The good news for me is that a good friend of mine showed me his new One Hertz at lunch the other day (very nice indeed!) and that I've seen Peter's tourb repeater and Serpent -- but I'm guessing that I have not seen the other new PSM pieces to which you ...

For me, the 1hz is one of the most beautiful watches of the last years. Fx

and probably appeals to those placing more emphasis on movement over aesthetics although at the end of the day, it still must appeal enough to the buyers' eye.

reminded me of a printed circuit board when I saw the chiaroscurro photo treatment of the movement. very nice. thanks for sharing!

I think quite a few were caught by the novelty (not in a fluffy manner) of the movement. And to be frank, I really think it is a very interesting movement.
