It was at night. It was dark. And the lighting conditions were really bad.
So please sorry for the bad photo quality. But I spontaneously decided last night to film this "event".
It is amazing how my Moser Purity Perpetual Calendar jumped from February 28th to March 1st.
It all happens in less than 1 second: just after midnight the large date jumps on three days and the month display (the small hand in the middle of the dial) jumps from February to March.

I don't know of any other perpetual calendar where this happens just after such a short time after midnight and at this speed.
Fascinating…
A PC is an admirable technical masterpiece, but if we're honest, it has little practical relevance unless you wear the watch all the time.
You just have to set it again and again.
For me it's different with this Moser: with an official power reserve of seven days (in reality it's eight days), this manual wound perpetual calendar is not only beautiful, but also very practical.
Thanks for reading.
All the best
Thomas

Just wanted to ask the forum if there are really jumping dates at the end of February and there is my answer. Great watch! My Ochs and Junior takes a few hours to perform it (obviously another approach by Oechslin). On the note of the potential resetting ...

Yes, the details are impressive. I also love the fact that the perpetual calendar is only discernable on the dial as the large date and the very restrained design of the hand for the month, here very reduced even with hour indices just at 12 and 6. Best T...

I am a big fan of Moser. I had some issues with my first Moser I bought in 2015, the Henry Double Hair Spring, which has a very complicated and apparently delicate movement, that was produced just in a very small number. But Moser could fix it the second ...
