Lang & Heyne
I have followed Lang & Heyne with interest for some time on this forum. But it wasn't until the other day that I actually saw some of their pieces "in the metal." I was really blown away by the quality, style and overall feel of these watches. I haven't seen anything else like it out there--a "timeless timepiece" seems appropriate and is what comes to mind.
I currently own or have owned watches from Glashutte, F.P. Journe and Lange & Sohne, but nothing yet from Lang & Heyne. I am curious to know if any of you own any of these watches and, if so, how has your experience been? The price is quite high and, while I am willing to pay more for the personal craftsmanship these watches seem to symbolize, I don't like to buy watches to put them in the safe; my view is that they should be worn. Are these pieces generally fit/reliable for daily office wear? This is a relatively small company, so any views or comments would be most appreciated.
Finally, as it relates to the Albert of Saxony, is the movement made in-house or is it mostly Unitas based?
Thanks in advance for any of your valuable insight.

I have no wearing experience, so I can't help you there. But as to the movements, it is true that the first movements were modified Unitas movements. In the mean time Marco has been making more and more of the pieces himself as for his use many of the ETA...
