My infos about the Cabestan
As far as I know, Vianney Halter and Jean Francois Ruchonnet put an end to their partnership. Vianney completed the prototype so as it is functionnal as visitors could have seen in Baselworld.
Production is to be organized by JFR and his company CREALUX. (www.cabestan-watches.ch).
The first pieces shall be delivered by the end of this year.
I have no idea of the brand name (Cabestan or Cabestan Watches ?) but it seems certain that the name Vianney Halter will not appear on the watches.
The prototype shown is Baselworld has a titanium case but I guess gold or platinum should be also produced.
Have anyone any idea of the selling price ?

CABESTAN Question...
I read a thread somewhere here that Vianney Halter is no longer working on the Cabestan project but it has in fact been produced and being sold. I am curious, if this is true, what happened to the project that resulted in his departure from the monumental...

Curious....are you still ordering it or
you have changed your mind ? The problem with a piece like this is future maintainence. Considering that having a highly complicated piece by Vianney is already a difficulty for servicing in future, and now it is under the hand of another party with no on...
