Obviously there is no bad choice anyhow but if you ask my opinion…
For me DB must be blue titanium it is in the DNA of the brand so why go half way and take a DB which doesn’t really carry the DB attributes. Moreover there are still bridges and many parts in anthracite color which are nicely contrasting with the blue for not having everything monochrome blue.
In other words my vote goes for second option.

DB stands for blue titanium, for sure. Still, being a simple guy, I like my things pure and my choice would be No. 1.

The blue is quintessential DeBethune, but I prefer fifty shades of grey.
Yay! Early congrats! I don't think either is "more" DB than the other.
While there is a lot of blue ti today, the early watches were not so blue and the aiguille d'or winning db28 was more like the first one. That said, the DB polished blue ti is super sweet, electric blue unlike anything else, so no bad options either way 👍...
I think the top one looks more harmonious and will be a timeless classic.
The second is just a little blue, but not enough to be bold like the Kind of Blue.

Blue is more associated with De Bethune
That being said, the first one was the version that won GPHG if I'm not mistaken. IMO, the first version is more attractive, you get a touch of blue with the moon phase anyway.
