Old catalogs (part 1) Svend Andersen
Almost as enjoyable as the watches themselves is flipping through catalogs that are 25 to 30 years old. Back before this ridiculous digital era where everything has to be read on a phone or PC, and where unfortunately a huge amount of information ends up being completely lost over time.
And before that came the period when you no longer received a beautiful catalog, but instead got a DVD or USB stick, though those things eventually stop working too. There’s nothing wrong with well made print in a book or catalog. Nature and the environment are important of course, but often that argument gets abused in the sense of: “for a nice catalog we’d have to cut down a tree, so here’s the link to our website, go read it online instead.”
Anyway, here are a few posts with some memories of older watches. Just photos taken from what are often dozens or even hundreds of pages of nostalgia
