One of the prettiest pieces I know...
Took a few minutes last night to fire off some shots -- all single exposures (that is, no stacking)...
The D800e can't be beaten for sharpness, but I am still working on some interesting chromatic aberration issues with the Antiqua specifically. May be the absence of an AA filter or my lighting technique -- will be fun to continue experimenting...

Can u not correct the CA with PP ?
Not sure if its me or is the white balance a tad off. Do you normally perform bracketing for your macro shots ? Great hots nonetheless. Yes, the D800E is touchable for sharpest !

Have to second Gary on that, I have had the fortune to try the Classic, Trio and Antiqua. Am sure it was done consciously, they all feel great and right on the wrist !

I am quite flattered to report that Vianney has asked me whether he might use some of these images on his website -- a first for me! Big smiles on this end, for sure. As for Vianney's next piece, he has been hinting that one is on the way, but no details ...
