Rather disappointing responses here from wmclarenf1,
with due respect.
Thanks Gary for offering your time to develop an Observatoire registry. I would be very interested to see a listing of the variations in this series. And frankly I can't think of another small series of watches which has stimulated as much passion and discussion.
I don't think the issue here is to pass off this project assuming this Kari should provide a summary himself. Nor is it relevant to this thread what constitues a LE (instead check a couple threads below), or whether some owners may not want to participate, or how many Observatoires were actually produced.
Sticking to the topic, I would offer my support to Gary (or Allen) in developing a registry. I do think we will all be surprised regarding the variety in this series. Thanks to Gary for his passion and his offer to step up.
