I changed the strap to this dark brown with darker striations in the cracks between the scales and I think it looks great. Do you agree with the strap? ...  

And the watch isn't too bad either

...honey/carmel brown may look good as well if you ever get an itch to change again.

I don't like black dots on it. By the way how much did the replacement dial cost?

Maybe you can try a brown strap with a more even colour/print so it supports the dial ?. To much pattern or print on the strap may take away from the blue beauty imho.

Blue and brown is a great pairing, and in this case we have rich blue and rich brown, with a strap similar to the much-loved IWC Santoni straps. Well done, John

If you don't mind me asking, how did the redial process work? Is it open to all owners of the 1941 Remontoir, e.g. you could go from a 'normal' dial to a 'enamel & guilloche' dial (after paying the cost of course)?
