But I like that detail: to me it shows that they are looking at the watch for what it really is, an instrument for telling time, and so they are making sure that it's properly designed to perform that function at its best. It shows that they are not only looking at the aesthetics of the watch, but also at its functionality.
Now, putting that much emphasis on the parallax may have a little to do with marketing too, but I still like the detail and the way it's implemented!
