That's a fair point. However, you are one of a small few to own a Gronfeld and so this watch perhaps opens up a new market/new buyer. They may not be so focused on having you/existing customer buy this watch.
Personally I'm happy they carried through the same case, because it's just superb. I've only seen a handful of the remontoire where I think the dial actually works (on some dials the cut-out just doesn't look right due to the difference / contrast beteeen dial color and the components) and so to have this same case but with a more cohesive dial is appealing to me.

The combination of salmon dial and blued hands, combined with the blue strap and orange stitching, adds a colorful playfulness to the watch. And the SS price is less inaccessible than their earlier models. I agree that the watch could be just a tad smalle...
