I wish I had the same panache as you when it comes to watch purchases. Hopefully it is an acquired skill.

Yes I believe I took the right decision as I can't stop staring at this mesmerizing movement, and dial, and hands, and hour markers, and case... I don't know where is the panache but probably some consistency in my choices and selection that help me pulli... 

See I too a fro, go in circles, get confused, drink, lose sleep, go days without eating them buy the watch :P I think this one will be a good friend to you for years to come, the bank manager will likely be jealous too

You are absolutely right! I met Vanessa, the new CEO at the SIHH this year and she did say a dial could be made for me in a 39mm case. Then I saw the Gronefeld Remontoire which totally swayed me as they were both similarly priced but the movement of the R...

And I love the 2 bros a lot (the people behind the watch are almost as important as the watch itself, I know I go a bit far but that's me 😉), just the Remontoire is manual wound and thus not anymore a possible option for me with one valid hand only...

the Laurent Ferrier is without doubt the perfect and most practical choice!

But for my other LF (Galet Square) I love the original blue brushed dial but a bespoke dial is not out of question and... has been already discussed with Mr Ferrier months ago... Wait and see 😉

Btw, LF makes the most beautiful micro rotor on the market today, so no torture with manual wind 😉

Spectacular piece and I can see how temptation strong. Have been tested with a LF that's still haunting dark corners of the mind still... who knows one day perhaps i too will fall...

However if I did this, life would be very short as my wife would kill me.

...even if you enjoy such a beauty for a short while, believe me it is worth 😉 PS: I did not ask permission to my wife, otherwise she would have demanded a compensation in jewels or other fashion attires 😉
