Thats a tough choice.
I really love the Principia but a KV is also very high on my wishlist.
I am also thinking about consolidating my collection at some point and try to find a few masterpieces like KV or RG to add so I have a handful of amazing watches that i will wear as much as possible.

For me personally
a Voutilainen is one of the best watches money can buy - the movement finishing and architecture is only matched by the beauty of the dials. And Kari is quite flexible with the case size too. Yes it costs a lot but a Kari is a keeper.

Voutilainen for me..
I got my first Voutilainen lately and it is just spectacular... and highly addictive. I am hoping for some customized pieces from Kari, but I hear his manufacture has gotten incredibly busy (3+ years for delivery).
If you’re looking for a watch to keep for a lifetime then KV is the way to go. He’s a pleasure to work with - nothing is too much trouble - and he epitomizes “hand made”.
If you think that you may eventually “sell on” then Journe or Grönefeld would likely be the better option. I don’t have either, but they will likely have better resale value and their pieces are at the more commercialized end of the independent spectrum a...
