The MB&F SP ONE in platinum

 

I'm not usually drawn to openwork watches, nor to MB&F's very modern aesthetic, but this platinum SP ONE is wonderful. 


The purest of all MB&F watches? In any case, I'm captivated.

Meanwhile, at W&W the typical boring brands will just make a new dial color or case. Meh, Big Box Store brands that lazily stack up bits, versus making new movements, inventing new ways to..... etc. MB&F #winning

Similar to you, although I think Max is a great down-to-earth guy, most MB&F pieces haven’t really appealed to me. BUT every since I saw this SP One, I cannot get this one out of my head: And similar to you, I not really a fan of openwork watches: But...

I agree with you that a transparent dial can end up looking more ugly than nice.
