Tourbillon à Paris and Tourbillon Grand sports...Timepieces made by Theo Auffret
I had the chance to get a pic of couple of different timepieces....Trust you'll enjoy them.
an unique piece ordered by an eminent private collector...This example is inspired and created as a tribute to his master J.B.Viot....
for comparison, the reference from JB Viot...(equally a rare bird as he made only 7-8 timepieces decades back)
movement side of another Tourbillon a Paris...with Charbonage finishing !
Theo Auffret is one of the few watchmakers who is building timepieces emphasising the French traditional methods, example finishing of the movement are similar to old French clocks and pocket watches.
While the traditional classique case at 38mm, the Tourbillon Grand Sport is bold, modern with a 41mm case size with the same movement...
Unlike Tourbillon à Paris, the Grand sports is not a regulator dial and the case (especially mid-case that is not captured here) is done in concave shape displaying multiple curve lines....
Between the Classique Tourbillon à Paris and the Tourbillon Grand Sports - which one you like ?

That 38mm Tourbillon á Paris
is one of the prettiest watches ever in my view. Love both the front and back. It's a brilliant effort by Theo.
