Much more importantly, however, it would seem to mark your initiation into the wonderful world of Independents and what a great way to start - an accessible and beautiful piece from the hands of a genuine master. My usual saleslady did not agree with the owner's assessment that I would want it and had not emailed me about it. He was chortling about being proved right.

Here is a pic. This dealer has Camille Fournet bands with his imprint for watches that require replacement bands. He switched it to a short for me. Frankly, I prefer buckles because by nightfall I have to adjust the band smaller - my wrist swells up a bit...
