When we saw Kari in January
...he asked us not to post photos of that particular case back, at the request of the new owner. Looks like the cat is out of the proverbial bag, however...
My understanding is that this is another take on the Daughters of Atlas caseback on the Masterpiece 7 -- and quite a different one, at that. If my recollection is correct, both engravings are by Eddy Jaquet -- who also did my Chronos case back.
The case itself is also fascinating on that watch -- it's patterned after a vintage pocket watch, and has swirls of gold and (I think) enamel or lacquer interspersed. Add on the fact that it's a Voutilainen repeater, and it's a pretty special watch!

I think I didn't takea picture of the dial. Yes that looks like a power reserve to me too, and I know that Kari has one in his lineup. But I don't see one in my dial pictures. :( Don
