It's not the end-all be-all to me but I am curious as to why the finishing style seems quite different from the old minute repeater, which is very very well finished. I've spent quite a bit of time with that watch because a friend here owns one. I'm guessing maybe it's because the parts all have to be thinner and that you can't go as aggressive with anglage?

That story sounds plausible. I'm not a watchmaker, so unfortunately I don't know, but I like the direction you're going.
I am really impressed about this release .
And seeing it and listening to it in person even more . What a watch
