My personal experience was great and I was totally in love ❤️with the dial, the stars, the hands. I also love the proportions (8.8mm height). A very exclusive piece not seen as much in RG so, with the option to buy a new piece, I didn't want to miss out.

I love the brand but I am very much an outsider and so am not familiar with the intricacies of the brand. However, I am surprised that watchbox has made it worse. Is it mostly because of the over hyping and celebrity endorsements?

Yes! I think David Zanetta's role is a lost part of the DB origin story! Ignoring his contribution and influence imho makes for an incomplete understanding of DB's watches.
