Does it show your name when you press on the lever by holding up a plate (actually the reverse of the square piece of brass)? So that you know where you are seated during the dinner? It seems to have a regulator too. Therefore your name must go down again...

but one should not underrate it, just because it doesn´t look fancy (yet). My guess: It is from the same gentleman which did his entry piece to AHCI in wood, because he didn´t have enough time for something else. Still I have no idea what it is :-) Keep t...
