Always a dilemma
The date window is an eternal dilemma.
On the one hand a date window, especially if no other complications, tends to distort the balance of virtually any dial (like yin and yan and a date window haha)
But on the other hand, I find a date indication especially thru a window with numeral, such a damned convenient indicator.
Funny enough I only notice how often I use the date indication when I’m wearing a watch without it.
The way I struck a bridge between date or no date, is that I like my more serious dress watches strictly without a date and preferably hand wound and preferably small second hand.
For all other watches I prefer a date indication.
Ps : some of you know I’m on a self-tutoring mission trying to figure out the magic of macro photography. And the last two pictures were shot few days ago.
Finally I got those “rays of light” on the dial. Haha
