Hi,
the Ocean 2000 does not comply with current diving watch standards and I doubt that it complied with DIN or ISO standards for diving watches when it was launched in 1982. However, it was developed in accordance with the specifications of the German armed forces and the design was largely adopted unchanged for the civilian version.
With the Sinn T50, Sinn has undoubtedly taken up the design of the Ocean 2000 again.
