I asked him this specific question "why almost no lady watches..." At that time, I had not read your post in respect of the interview.
I tried to recall what he said and not to misquote him. His answer was basically that IWC do not purposely make lady watches to attract ladies to come to the brand. Their man watches are also suitable for the ladies. If the ladies are interested, they will come to buy IWC watches (even though they are for man).
This is interesting as it seems to suggest that IWC watches are suitable for both men and women. If this is the brand's direction, it is a bold step to take.
