….its a thin, automatic watch. Why are most modern watches unnecessarily thick? Genuine question….

My research tells me it’s a 3254 based on a JLC 889

I have sometimes benefitted from auction-house mis-descriptions. Sad for vendors. Blue dials described as black.

I fell in and can't seem to get out.
