My only issue with this stunning release
Is that the dial is made from glass and the hour numerals seems to be glued to the dial. On a youtube video by Revolution they have some good macro footage and it can clearly be seen there that glue is appiled horribly bad - with significant mistakes near numbers "10" and "11". Maybe this is a prototype and they will re-think the technology for the actual watches?

I think it's a remarkable job done because it finally makes the perpetual calendar live up to its name; especially in German "Ewiger Kalendar". Great stuff from the IWC engineers and good to see this actually solved. Of course time will tell whether it is...

I’ve just watched the Time + Tide video of the IWC releases and I think they may be my favourite so far.
The eternal calendar is amazing but even some of the dial treatments and open case backs of the lesser models look great. All the best, Jon
