Because at the end of the day the special gem is just on your own wrist. And the joy comes from feeling it and looking at it and not from what others think about it.

I have to say, I have had really good teachers and role models here over a long period of time. In the meantime I have developed my very own taste, which often does not go hand in hand with the watches that many investment oriented collectors chase after....

No safe queen
Having the perfect watch, most of us are so careful, our grail become a safe queen. You just wear your favorite watch. Seeing your D’avinci i compare it to a Cartier Pasha. Very different, but i think the lugs do it.
