An early all black watch! Yes, Karl Lagerfeldt probably started the trend in the 80s or early 90s. But this is darn early.

Mine is the tribute IWC made around 2021. I remember reading and seeing pictures of Karl Lagerfeld's AP. So cool and ahead of its time.

I thought its as one from around 2005 or so, just before the first iteration of the Top Gun watches. Oops. Thanks for the correction! IWC as a brand is still one of the early brands for all black watches - at least in recent history! Amazing thing too, La...

I was a fan at first sight and liked that it was a 41mm watch too.

How is the ceratanium holding up in real life? All the best, Jon

It’s super durable. I’ve had the watch for a while and there’s not a mark on it. That said I’m very careful with all my watches though 😁
