This is a good example of why I disliked IWC so much under Kern
A ridiculous size at 45+mm compounded by the integrated link, which would make it wear even larger.
And then it has "Ingenieur" on the dial but no soft iron cage to give it any anti-magnetic property, as it gave way to a transparent caseback to showboat the movement. All style, no substance.
It's as if they produced a watch with "Aquatimer" on the dial, but no water resistance.
I thought I had seen all the Ingeniuers, but today I found a new one
A 7-day, "Big Pilot"-sized, in-house movement, gold-cased Ingeniuer. I wonder if my wrist could handle 45.5mm of yellow gold... Cazalea ...
Nice looking watch, a bit on the large size.
However, I do believe it is worth while to consider such a nice piece.
"Big Ingenieur" the 7-day was not popular then and I don't know where it's at today

Not me - Why should I be interested in a watch that had an association with Zidane
Or even Hamilton despite the fact that I am an F1 fan. Associations like these are mostly meaningless to serious watch collectors. ...
