Yea burgundy is cool
Overall I think this might be my last IWC. At least for the next couple years. Now that I have had time with this new variation all I can say is ITS BORING! They removed the red off the dials, the case is basically the same as you get on the base non Chrono version and the timekeeping SUCKS. +13 a day so far! Richemont really has turned IWC into a cheap brand.
This is my honestl opinion after a few days. I'll wind up dumping this one soon for sure.
If you have the older models keep them. They were much nicer.

The 12.9mm over the previous 14.5mm is noticeable on wrist. I do think they should have left that hint of red on the power reserve. Dial looks clean but also sterile in this color. I saw the new dune color scheme but that is not for me! Which variants do ...
Thanks for sharing; wow I used to own this watch and didn’t realize the original thickness was approaching 15mm!

And the sales agent didn’t even mention the slimmer thickness (compared to the original)… …unless your version and this one aren’t the same thickness ...

Otherwise same thing basically. To me it's kinda boring. A part of me loves it and the other part thinks it's so simple and plain that it's not worth the $$ 😂😂😂

These Portuguese models are a love hate for me. Any of them! They look cool in pictures but on wrist it's jsut boring as all hell until it hits the light then it's cooler! I'll wear it for a little then sell it!
As for the current line up in SS…….
I like the Dune and the silver dial with gold numerals. All that being said the burgundy is real hard to beat.😉 ...

I like the pop of red on my early example.
But I really like that the early versions have an eccentric screw to adjust the rate. A hack like me can fiddle. I’m not touching the adjustable balance weights of the newer versions. ...
