All is in the title. I am curious to know if you have a winner, among all the watches introduced in 2012 by JLC and which it wold be. To help you to make your choice, here is the link to the 2012 novelties: jlc.watchprosite.com And here: jlc.w...
The Reverso Calendar and the Deep Sea Chronograph. I think that I would go with the Reverso Calendar, although I wish it had the marvelous Breguet hour numbers; but let's not be too greedy, or is it a case of greed is good?:) just joking.. Cheers, Francoi...
Something tells me that you will not be the only one to mention the Reverso Calendar... When we introduced the novelties, last January, I felt that this Reverso was one of our favourite, here. While it was not necessarily the case wwith the Deep Sea Chron...
but since it felt abit oversized for my wrist...it is just abit less than perfect. so my vote goes to the reverso calendar...beautiful and well balanced
Somehow the Calendar did better in the wrist test for me than the Rouge. As much as I love the Rouge, it just looks bigger. Funny how the mind plays trick with what you see and feel despite the same case size. Guess the simplicity of the dial makes it loo...
Hi Have to say if we have to have a new RDM then the Ultra thin RDM is my preference of the 2012 collection. Even though I have a strong liking for Calendar watches and Reversos, unfortunately the Reverso Calendar is a tad too big for my taste - now if it...
The right mix of vintage and modern touch. The case is so well designed. I believe it could open a very successful product line for JLC. More than the Compressor line, IMO it would harmonize with Reverso, Master, Duomètre and Grand Complications. So fond ...
Developped from the Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm case. Superb profile, elegant lugs, a winner. And you said it very well, a great mix of vintage and modern details. The Savoir Faire " from the Manufacture. Best, Nicolas
Agree with youn the grained dial made a strong impression on all those who were lucky to see it in the real. All in delicateness and subtility. Thanks for your input, Damjan. Nicolas
Now, we are knockinf at a new year's door... And We are at only two months from the new collection. So, it is time to play with the 2012 collection, now that all the pieces ( or almost ) hit the boutiques or ADs. Come on, do an effort! Or I will pour more...
So I will choose one amongst the watches I can afford. And I think at the end that I would choose the Deep Sea Chronograph: The chronograph indicator transforms nicely the dial and I find it very balanced and well-made. Fx ...
Hi Nicolas, Cannot get enough of these Duometre birds (though I don't even own one myself). The more affordable choice for me was the MC Chrono with black face and now white on black date window and some red details, but I believe they messed it up with a...
This is the one which impressed me the most, in 2012. Not my choice, as I try to have some realistic one, but horologically speaking, this is clearly a winner. All brands included. Best, Nicolas
... 1931 Reverso as one of the winners this year. You know, I´m the happy owner of one of these beautiful watches, and my first Reverso. Now that two sub dials chrono you show, is a real winner, and a watch which I would be more than happy to own. May be,...
... but I hadn´t paid the attention it well deserved! Your photos and comments, once again, opened my eyes!! Just love it. This was the watch you presented at beginning this year with the misterious dive at the Paris Opera water tunnel system, isn´t it? A...
the rouge is the one---having seen and tried it in the metal a month ago---it might just be my first le coultre However, having just seen the deep sea chrono,i really like it and the size is just right. What a choice! best
I feel the Rouge is the clear winner, in terms of coolness. As for the DS Chrono, it is a subtle alternative. In terms of high horology, the Sphero is one of the top watch from the 2012 novelties. All brands included. A nice year. Best, Nicolas
This one, so classy, so chic, so elegant, a real dandy watch ! And the small seconds at 6 is also useful so see if the watch still runs ;-) best my friend, Didier Credit : Amanico, what else ! ...
