I really appreciate that JLC watches are underrated; it’s rare to see someone wearing one, no matter the price. With most people gravitating towards hype pieces and brands, wearing a JLC makes you feel uniquely special. I also love AP, and as someone who owns a couple of Royal Oaks, I can confidently rank JLC alongside them. After all, JLC provided the heart for the iconic AP 5402.

The Reverso Duoface was my grail as well.
I was lucky enough to get one about 9 years ago. It has lasting power. I fell in love with all JLCs during the Magali/Amvox period but had lusted after a Reverso for decades.

I completely agree with you. JLC unquestionably deserves a place alongside the big three. Their history of supplying movements for some of the most iconic pieces from the trinity firmly establishes JLC’s rightful place at the top.
What you describe is exactly why I love JLC more than other recognisable brands!
