Jaeger-LeCoultre

A brother says hello...

Nicolas' observation is absolutely correct. I have had this one for 1½ years now and very fond of it. I really love how this watch is "quiet" and elegant one one side and almost explodes in depth and colour on the other.

Your picture reminds me that some of these RG Chronos were made with 36 jewels and others with 37 (or at least it says so on the chrono side). I have found out that there is not a clear cut in serial number where this change was introduced - the 36 and 37 jewel movements seem to be distributed in the series. But of course all watches from number 1 to 500 were most likely not produced in consecutive order and logically there should be a clear cut in the movement number.

I have not been able to find out where that extra jewel sits nor how many watches were made with 36 and 37 jewels though. A challenge for the year to come maybe?

Kind regards

Nikolaj
