Your two '65s are are a blessing and you are so lucky to have the pair! They are more elegant and classy compared to the 68s IMO. I won't even contemplate looking for one due to their rarity. 
Thanks for sharing your strap options and tips with us; saving us time when we decide to replace the flimsy one that comes with the watch. However, they are soft and offer a snug fit for me, so it'll do for now.
