So as you know they said my old movement could not be serviced and had to be replaced. They later said they would be able to service it but can’t give a warranty. I opted for a new movement, they said they would include it in the service documentation. Th...  

Enjoy this fantastic JLC. Love it’s movement, it’s line… A watch from a time when JLC produced dream watches worthy of a Grande Maison.... Time has changed.... Sadly... all that remains today is the recycling of old movements and the changing of dial colo... 

I think we all got your point. you made it like 100 times as of now. Can you maybe just let the people enjoy ? (I can guarantee you some do like the current offering, and were not so excited about what was done 15-20 years ago, when not everything was as ... 

Personally, I feel free to think what I want and to express my opinions, accepting that others may not share them. But, I never attack people. The most I can do is fight their ideas. Your criticism that I'm criticizing JLC's current policy makes me smile.... 

I had hesitated for a long time before choosing the blue version ...  

I wonder, did the service take 5 months? Is that extreme too or normal for this kind of complication?

Would you share the price of the service by any chance?

But they will fix it, just a matter of lost time. On the other note, I wouldn't be surprised if replacement of a movement like this was 2x of what they asked for

After reading the thread it seems that everything hasn’t gone according what you were expecting. To me it is weird that they couldn’t service their own older movement but it had to be replaced to newer one, that is naturally not bad thing at all.
