It's worth it to read the review of the 975 "Autotractor" movement that's posted somewhere here. I owned the Hometime, and after it was stolen managed eventually to replace it with a Dualmatic, which I have now owned for...over 7 years. It is extremely robust, accurate and stable, and has served me well through far more exciting and daunting activities than most sports watches, including two trips through the rain forest in Borneo (and many other places). The only thing mine didn't like was when my strap broke playing basketball with my son--it suffered a major fall to the concrete and required a service. Short of that, it has been exceptionally robust and reliable.

In the early 2000's ( 2002 to be precise ), Jaeger Lecoultre launched a new line of products, the Master Compressor.
They started with the Memovox, and then the Dualmatic and the Geographiqiue. In 2006 ( if my memory serves me well ) we had the Master Compressor Diving. And so on... A new line of sports products, with a compressor crown. The Dualmatic is in between, bet...

JLC is for connesieurs, not speculators...
However, that being said, I had a Master Moon that I bought in '01 and sold in '07 and I gained 280%. But I don't buy to sell, I buy to enjoy. If you ever sell JLC, Patek or Rolex, you MUST think 10 years later. -Dean
