Not speculating - but always good to know that nice things I spend decent money on won't be worthless in a few years time
My collecting so far has involved trying to spot a reasonable deal on a more basic model of watch, then when I spot something else that takes my fancy and have the spare cash trading 'up'. So sold my first watch (Speedy obviously 
) when i spotted a deal on a DSOTM. Had a rolex tudor and spotted a new air king in a pawn shop. etc etc etc.

In the early 2000's ( 2002 to be precise ), Jaeger Lecoultre launched a new line of products, the Master Compressor.
They started with the Memovox, and then the Dualmatic and the Geographiqiue. In 2006 ( if my memory serves me well ) we had the Master Compressor Diving. And so on... A new line of sports products, with a compressor crown. The Dualmatic is in between, bet...

JLC is for connesieurs, not speculators...
However, that being said, I had a Master Moon that I bought in '01 and sold in '07 and I gained 280%. But I don't buy to sell, I buy to enjoy. If you ever sell JLC, Patek or Rolex, you MUST think 10 years later. -Dean
