Congrats, Elliot!...
Although I've always loved the black dial, my only beef was that I wished JLC would have sand-blasted the subdial hands. I always found the polished steel hands of the date, reserve and 2nd time to be a little hard to read under certain lighting conditions. The silver, on the other hand, I've always found to be quite legible. By the way, being a blue jeans & navy slacks lover, I prefer the silver dial on the navy strap - it really pulls out the color of the subdial hands.
Enjoy! (Oh, and don't forget to make sure your love for JLC appears - subtly - on your next album;-) )
-Dean
