Discussion: Newly announced Polaris vs Discontinued Master Compressor
The new Polaris is an interesting sports line. At first glance, I found it very sexy; however, after a while and looking at it in person, I slowly thought it was a bit bland. It’s my personal opinion only. The new Polaris does contain a few changes that I welcome, such as a thinner bezel. The design also appears to be more versatile than the Master Compressor line.
I start to compare it to the discontinued Master Compressor line. I start to think it had a more distinct design that was unmistakeable JLC with an ingenious design in crown design. I was sad when the model line was discontinued.

At first I really wanted one of the new Polaris watches but I looked into it more. 38/42 hour power reserves and movements that seem smaller than the case. The bracelets use push pins which is a huge turn off for me. Water resistance is not on par with ot...

If the master compressor line up was revamped at 44mm and had the quick strap change with a variety of straps I would Take it over my roo any day. I have been waiting patiently . It's seems JLC doesn't want to go that route
