Double folding clasp/leather strap?
In general I prefer leather strap before bracelet.
The problem with these vintage watches is that it’s very hard to find taper straps that fit the original buckles.
And it’s also very hard to find the original buckles.
There were some vintage double folding clasps, but they are even harder to find…
Here is an example from the 1958 catalogue:
The modern version is very difficult finding the right fit with the double folding clasp, IMO.
So, I haven’t really decided my thoughts about these yet.

How JLC thinks of such practical features. Changing the hole during the day and night becomes rather inconvenient. Especially for someone who wears a watch tight. Ed

I think I found something better to use instead a paperclip. So, OK – let’s start over! Take away the paperclip and cut a fitting piece of the spring. Put the spring and clasp in place again. OK, let’s test if the bracelet is elastic. Yes, now it’s workin...
